You have humbled us, inspired us, comforted us, enlightened us, challenged us and joined us on this amazing journey towards the return of democracy in Queensland. Because of you, we have remembered what it was to be Australian and actually stand for something. This page was born last July as a simple way for us to communicate with the Australian horse industry. It only turned into a political animal after we became aware what was happening to our farmers, our prime farmland and our precious water. It became very clear to us that our country and our people are being raped and pillaged to benefit the Corporates, the Banks and the mining mates. If we lost our land, our water and our farmers, then pretty soon we wouldnt have a horse industry, either. The first travesty for us was that our politicians were either traitorously complicit in the destruction of our land, our water and our rights - or they were being silenced by the party machines. The second travesty was that the mainstream media - in particular, the corporate media - was simply not reporting the truth. Our greatest wish is that we can see Queensland restored to some honest, ethical and truthful government on Saturday - and that this humble Facebook page can return to talking about horses again.
