Dr. John Ronnau, Dean of the College of Health Sciences and Human Services, was proud to accompany members of our Nursing faculty to the first International Conference on Transforming Contemporary Nursing in Phitsanulok, Thailand. UTPA is a co-host of this prestigious conference. During their trip, he and Dr. Huerta, Chair of the Nursing Department, were invited to sit at the dinner table with the President of Naresuan University, their host. It was a grand event including cultural dances and music from several countries. There were faculty, administrators present from 11 countries: America, Austrailia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Lao, Maldives, Oman, Philippines, Viet Nam, and Thailand.
