Dr. Obote is in a deep reflection reading a book “why nations fail”, Amin interrupts and salutes him, Dr. Obote still wondering what it means, Tito Okello runs in and salutes. Kabaka Mutesa II comes in from behind and pats Dr. Obote on the shoulder. Ignitious Musazi, Binaisa, Mzee Byarufu, Enock Muntuyera, Petero Nyangabyaki, Benedicto Kiwanuka, Archbishop Joseph Kiwánuka, Archbishop Janan Luwum, Nyakairima ka Muzoora (a greet seer from Kigezi) and finally Omukama Kabalega Cwa enters composed but visibly hurting. There is a sense of emptiness in the room and finally Omukama Kabalega Cwa clears his voice and breaks the silence angrily informing members that the war of independence veterans have gathered to save Uganda for the second time. Omukama continues “My people are suffering, they have no jobs, no food, their land has been taken away and are all looking weak. Their will is broken, no one can stand up against oppression! We need to rescue them from colonialism of this boy from Nkore”. One of Kabalega’s body guards (abarusura) asks whether this boy is in anyway related to Capt. Lugard or those bajungu colonialists like Mr. Goat”. Everyone makes a submission lamenting the lost vision and challenging the spirits to rise up and revive courage among Ugandas to revive the vision of “one united and prosperous nation”. Marshal Kabalega, moves a motion to form a standing army to rescue Uganda, the motion is seconded by Generals Amin and Lutwa and Col. Muteesa. Dr. Obote gives closing remarks and emphasized that people still alive in Uganda led by Col. Dr. Besigye, Gen. Muntu, Erias Lukwago, Nandala Mafabi, Sekikubo, Cecelia Ogwal and many young Ugandans be recruited and re-oriented in patriotism and nation building. Finally Archbishop Janan Luwum says the prayer and asks Christ our Lord to give Uganda a second chance, to teach Ugandans to love one another and to give the nation a leader who will revive the nation. Still in prayer Nyakairima prophesies seeing Uganda like sheep without a shepherd and adds that he sees a shepherd marching with a great army of supporters and in short while Uganda will be liberated and the right foundation of the new Uganda laid fresh! Archbishop Joseph Kiwánuka prays to the martyrs to bless the struggle and closes with a Benediction. The meeting ends.
