“Dracula Untold” couldn’t scare away Ben Affleck’s movie “Gone Girl” from the top of the box office as it remained number one for the second straight week. There are several new movies opening on Oct. 17. They include: Brad Pitt’s war drama, “Fury” which also stars Michael Pena and Shia LaBeouf. “The Best of Me” is another teary-eyed love story from Nicholas Sparks featuring Michelle Monaghan and James Marsden. Guillermo del Toro’s “The Book of Life” is a bright, adventurous and funny kid’s film with voice work from Ice Cube, Zoe Saldana and Channing Tatum. Bill Murray, Naomi Watts, Terrence Howard and Melissa McCarthy star in the comedy “St. Vincent.” Adam Sandler is back. He joins Jennifer Garner, Judy Greer and Ansel Elgort in director Jason’s Reitman’s comedy, “Men Women & Children.” And last but not least, is “Default” which opens in limited release in Los Angeles and New York and Video on Demand (VOD). “Default” stars David Oyelowo and Katherine Moening and is about an American news crew who are taken hostage aboard a chartered jet off the coast of Seychelles by a gang of Somali pirates. Ill have reviews of these new movies posted to N2Entertainment.net on Oct. 17. And every Friday at 6:40 p.m. you can tune to KFBK 1530 AM and 93.1 FM for my movie review segment on the Kitty ONeal.
