The Position: Draftsman Nationality: Lebanese Job Location: Hamra, Beirut Starting date: asap Project Related Competencies: Key responsibilities shall include (not restrictively): Establishing liaison with architects and engineers in order to understand the nature of the project; Creating manual and computer based drawings; Creating two and three dimensional drawings; Creating drawings according to the requirements of the client; Studying the rough sketches and deciphering the specifications Preparing drawings with high precisions and as per scale Complete complex technical design projects and deliver Operational and Maintenance drafting services Be responsible for the quality, completeness and accuracy of produced drawings and documentation Incorporating all details of the drawing Making the drawings compliant with the standards and terms of the company Scanning and storing the drawings as a soft copy as well as the final blueprint in an organized manner Professional Attributes & Skills: Excellent knowledge of the AutoCAD software, 3D Max, and Visio Ability to quickly understand rough sketches Analytical and reasoning skills Effective written and oral communication skills with people at all levels and the ability to request and convey information in a diplomatic manner Demonstrate motivation and determination in understanding the needs of others while ensuring that control requirements are also addressed Ability to organize and prioritize high volumes of work, often under the pressure of multiple demands, deadlines and interruptions while maintaining close attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work in a busy environment and cope with demands from both internal and external sources Demonstrate the ability to use own initiative and judgment in the interpretation of complex data/information Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in all work undertaken and display an innovative approach to fact finding and problem solving A reasonable knowledge about construction and designing principles so as for a better understanding of the drawings Personal Attributes: Honest and trustworthy; Respectful; Professional; High sense of Business Ethics; Educational Background & Experience: A certification course in AutoCAD from a certified institute; 2-3 years of experience in electrical and low-current drawings and designs; Previous experience working in a Technical, Engineering environment, is essential; Previous exposure to big tenders and projects be it on a local or regional level is a major asset; Fluent in English & Arabic; NB: Only qualified candidates shall be conveyed for an interview.
