Drake says YOLO, everybody walks around screaming YOLO which means You Only Live Once, so that is the excuse for reckless actions and disrespectful ways of living your life. He then says Started from the bottom now we here, which so many people have not started from the bottom and so many people arent anywhere close to being on top or successful. Now he says NO NEW FRIENDS and we have all the girls and boys screaming the same things, disregarding new Good people in their lives, while holding onto worthless friends and fake friends because they seem cool and will party, smoke and promote reckless living. Its sad that we are in a time were people dont have a backbone so they follow what they hear on the radio, see in the videos, watch on the reality shows and etc. Its sad, but very true, we have to wake up or try to at least try to wake people up. Nas has a song called BLACK GIRL LOST that was so ahead of its time its past over so many peoples head. I will continue to work on myself to uplift and encourage others to see the mess that is going on in the world right now, because it is killing our culture. The media wants us to stay ignorant so we dont work towards being Doctors, Lawyers, Congressmen and Women, and bigger than Rappers, Video Vixens, Basketball players, strippers, and drug dealers. They took Tavis Smiley off the air, Teen Summit off the air, they will never promote Soulful Inspirational music, Enlightening shows on TV, Educational Tv and etc, all they show is POISON and that is all they want us to follow. You cant ask for guidance from someone who is living a sad life, you cant ask for inspiration from greatness from someone unsuccessful. You cant ask for what it means to be a Woman from a girl who is jumping from boy to boy and calling it Just having Fun, think about it.
