Drakes 4th Testimony!!! Drake was on the helicopter in flight to Duke and we were still at whiteville hospital, trying to talk the Drs in to letting Crystal go with us via ambulance or whatever keep in mind that 29 hours ago she had a c section. Finally we talked the Drs. In to discharging her and she rode with me and her dad, which had to be a painful ride and I admire her for that When we got to fayeteville Duke called and said Drake had arrived and would be undergoing test. When we arrived at the hospital we were exhausted and I was worried about my little boy and espically my wife. We sat in the waiting room for a hour or so and then a Dr. Came out after I had been trying to get Crystal the care she needed and he said we have a small room right down the hall where she can rest and you guys will be right by Drake. This room had a single bed a recliner and a sink not much to it but to u it couldnt have been any better and we Shared a bathroom with the priest at the hospital. He told us we could stay there, but if anyone else needed the room we would have to make other arrangements which in my eyes is only fair. At this time Drake was basically hanging out and doing fine but we knew surgery was a couple of weeks away. We have talked to the cardiologist team and they were coming up with a plan, one word I hate is cant and one of the Drs. Said that and I stood up and told him he might cant but my God can. It just amazes me that God sent us a room so close to the pcicu that I was able to walk around the corner and check on him every couple of hours and we kept this room until Drake got into a regular room after his surgery and many days in pcicu and then we moved in with him, which was right around 6 weeks. God placed us in this room and my wife got the rest she needed and got to be beside her son. God is so good and I give him all the praise for that, there was no way we were leaving that hospital we would have stayed in the waiting room if we had to, but God had other plans he gave us a bed, shower and most of all it ended up being my prayer closet during the day while others were with Drake. One day after many many prayers I was praying and praising God and he assured me that Drake would be ok, up until this point I was a nervous wreck, I cant explain it but those of you that pray often know that when God tells you something its an amazing feeling. I left Drake and family crying and all to pieces and I came back smiling and rejoicing, not only did I have a beautiful boy I had an incredible wife and most of all I had God on my shoulder the whole time. All of my prayers havent been answered but that one has and it was for God to give me peace and strength for me and espically my wife and family. God assured me Drake would be fine one way or another if God wanted to take him to heaven that was even ok with me after this one prayer because I know for a fact that God was with this little angel and his will would be done. So in closing I would like to say pray and give praise and God will take care of you no matter what the situation is!!! Thanks for all the prayers and please keep praying!!!! Our God can do anything
