Drakes album is decent. Nothing special, just decent. J Coles most recent album is solid, though not very creative. Hes a good rapper, technically speaking, and the album is accessible enough not to detract from that skillset. Kendrick Lamars album is harder to listen to, but a more daring piece of work than the other two, and it is enjoyable, too. It has more stand-out moments than Drakes album, for sure. Nas most recent album is good, no worse than Coles or Drakes (actually, its better than Drakes album) and...Im still waiting on Jay Electronica to come and raise the bar. ... random thoughts.
