Drama for Life is ending the year with an incredible schedule of dynamic work. We are busy working with the Department of Higher Education (DHET), Higher Education South Africa (HESA) and Higher Education AIDS Programme (HEAIDS) in preparation for a major research project to be conducted by, and about Drama for Lifes pedagogy. We have welcomed our new partner, the Swiss Development Agency (SDC) as we prepare to launch our three year Performance Dialogues for Social Change Project in five Southern African Development Countries. Our performers from the Drama for Life Theatre Laboratory are performing for the Gauteng Government and Legislature, the German Embassy, the German International Corporation, City of Johannesburg, World AIDS Day and our end of year celebrations. We are hosting the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) for an evaluation of our Drama Therapy degrees - the first ever in Africa. We are planning for all our innovative collaborations and events for 2015 and beyond. And we are preparing a great ritual celebration to salute all our scholars of 2014! Then we begin interviews and auditions for our new 2015 students. Welcome to the wonderful world of creativity - the kind that makes meaning about our lives and the lives of our neighbors and their neighbors.
