Drawing Down the Moon ~ an ancient tradition in Greece performed by Thessalian priestesses, so powerful, myth tells, that any of them could pluck the moon out of the sky and bring the moon to earth. An invocation to unite the earthly and the divine, the body and the spirit with results so great that now the goddess was thought to speak thru them. If I command the moon, it will come down; and if I wish to withhold the day, night will linger over my head; and again, if I wish to embark on the sea, I need no ship, and if I wish to fly through the air, I am free from my weight.
