Dream Analysis Time: first, you need to know that Ive had a recurring dream throughout my life that I am at my grandmothers apartment in Brooklyn (Ocean Parkway between L and M; she lived there over 50 years) and all of a sudden I realize there is a hidden set of rooms that are gorgeous. Sort of like Versailles, but more livable. Last night I dreamt that I was living again in Alabama with James but we had just moved in and not yet unpacked. Suddenly, Greg came to the door to visit unexpectedly (and we havent seen him in eight months; long story). As he comes to the door, some older women are somehow visiting me and Im kind of walking around the house, which keeps growing rooms (Im showing the women around). Greg is showing off a guitar and a banjo to what has become a party. I feel a bit overwhelmed. The women tell me they have unpacked a lot, and I notice that there are all sorts of spaces in the house, and I say, oh, but you missed the secret rooms, and I begin to take them back to the secret rooms of my grandmothers apartment, but this time there are very modern bathrooms, a trophy room, and a room filled only with Star Wars memorabilia, which is clearly worth a lot of money. Then I wake up.
