Drive carefully this morning! While snowfall amounts stayed light - TopicsExpress

Drive carefully this morning! While snowfall amounts stayed light overnight, it is still slippery in many areas this morning. The snow will move out and sunshine will take over, but cold air will stream in. Highs today will be in the low to mid 30s and may be steady or falling this afternoon. Northwest winds will be 5-15 mph and gusting higher at times, mainly early in the day. Mostly clear skies tonight will allow temperatures to drop into the low to mid teens and strong north winds tomorrow will keep highs down in the upper teens to mid 20s. Wind chills will be in the single digits most of Saturday. High pressure will settle in for Sunday with lots of sunshine but a very cold start to the day… lows around 5 above. With the cold start and the weak strength of the sun, highs will only manage to get into the mid 20s for Sunday afternoon. A disturbance will track through Sunday night bringing another chance of light snow, but it should be out of here by sunrise on Monday. Highs will be back to the mid 30s on Monday, but won’t stay there as another high pressure system tracks into the area from Canada. While it looks dry for Wednesday and Thanksgiving Day, it will be cold. Highs will drop back to the mid to upper 20s with lows in the mid teens.
