Driving In My Sleep The dashes dividing the highway disappear - TopicsExpress

Driving In My Sleep The dashes dividing the highway disappear within the haze building up in my mind. The rear view lights up ahead all seem to connect straight to the horizon line, the path is drawn out before me yet I dont know where Im going, I dont know how to explain it to you. Yet the bass beats out of the subwoofers, the bass beats and I feel it with my head up against your chest. I feel your heartbeat and I am in love again. Im in the void between desire and another hundred miles as I think about you and all the possible directions this road leads to, all the positions we beautifully create just connecting and talking as I trace your name softly across the curves in your back. I still hear your voice, I hear the song over the radio and see the lights reflect off of the windshield. I feel the engine humming, your spirit merging as your kisses come down on me like a rain storm. The water fills me up and overflows into your touch as any thoughts just get lost in an ocean of black macadam connecting our worlds. We step out of these clothes into the warmth we gather under just a sheet and smile knowing we have all we need at this moment, at this place within our embrace. As the wheels roll and the stars blur with passing headlights I feel something inside breaking free as the hunger within meets with your eyes and tiny hands. You look at me and see something I never knew was there, yet as the miles pile up Im living with the magic and passion I am missing. I would drive beyond any expectations and do it again to be by your side. All the streets twist and turn and come together like string rolled up into a ball and in all this confusion I take you into my hands and massage the stress away. I feel its my turn to open the door and let these butterflies fly away. I give into your wants and needs as the air around us becomes as thick as a sand storm scratching my paint, my skin as we roll, squeeze and kiss again as your eyes tell me this is not over and never will be as long as we breathe.
