Driving from school this morning I was listening to a gospel station and this lady was talking, dont remember her name, but she said that the Lord showed her a pot or vase in a vision. This pot had a crack in it and the Lord took a light and put it in the pot and closed it up or put a lid on it. He ask her what she saw and she told Him that she saw that the light shown through the cracks in the pot. She said that He told her that is how He works in our life. He shines through our brokenness not our strengths. It is not what we are good at that He is glorified in but it is in what we are not good at that He helps us to overcome that He is glorified in our life. So thank God for the cracks in your life because that is where God it going to do His most and best work in your life. And He will shine the most and be glorify the greatest. Some will not agree with God speaking in that manner to people today but His words says that your sons and daughters will see visions. He has given me visions from time to time. I have probable already told this one but I will tell it again. One day at church, Bro. Dwayne was praying, I was also praying. The Lord showed me an old tea pot, or at least that is what I call it, and it was over a fire and it began to whistle and steam spewed out of it. And I told the Lord that is what I want, I want the Holy Spirit to fill me to the point I cant hold it in, that it would just spew out. And in the service that day the Holy Spirit touched me and I testified in church and was just over filled by Him. It was just overwhelming and I loved it. So God does show vision, some are to give you direction and some are to show you what He wants from you. But He does still visit us and speaks to us in our hearts, in our prayers, in His word, in our dreams and any other way He chooses to do it. Dont limit God as to how He speaks to you but listen and watch for wonders and signs from Him. He tries to talk to us everyday but many times we are so busy that we dont take the time to just stop and listen. So slow down today and listen to what He is trying to tell you. If you dont slow down and listen, He will make you slow down and listen and you dont want it to go that far. O Lord, thank You for still speaking to us. For still making Yourself know to us and from time to time making us stop and hear what You are telling us. Lord give us vision and direction we need to go. Show me where i stand with You and what i need to repent of. Let Your light shine through my brokenness and glorify Yourself through me. In Jesus name i pray, Amen.
