Driving home listening to the radio so many thoughts running thru my head. Its been a roller coaster of emotions for me this last week and a half. Driving thru the old neighborhoods of Centreville and Chantilly last Monday. Seeing my old house in Brookfield, friends old houses and the old back roads. The memories and the people from my past come flooding back. Driving down Carlbern Drive one certain person came into my mind. I message him on Facebook Thursday morning only to receive the devastating news just hours later that Marty was gone. Then my daughters first homecoming of high school and my sons last. Football games pep rallies powder puff games. The best of times for me and hopefully for my children too. To top it off my 25 year high school reunion just around the corner. To say Ive been a little emotional would be an understatement. Lol I can only hope my children make lasting friendships that span decades and maybe hopefully even last a lifetime. Would I go back and do it all over again? Yes, yes I would.
