Driving into the studio at SiriusXM today listening to The Howard Stern Show and he has Martin Short as his guest. Martin was a guest at a wedding I DJd about 18 months ago and he asked if he could use my mic to toast the bride and groom. I was happy to let him do so and he proceeded to give one of the funniest speeches I have ever heard and then sang them a great song as Tony Bennett! The guy was brilliant. Afterwards he came up and thanked me for allowing him to use my mic and gear. Such a nice guy and a true comedy legend. So many stars have such an ego but not Martin Short. With all his talent and abilities he is still so down to earth. Now I have to read his memoir I Must Say...My Life As A Humble Comedy Legend.. The title is so appropriate - he is both humble AND a comedy legend.
