Drop on down to the Mansion House this morning where Mary’s Meals Ireland is launching World Porridge Day to raise awareness of the charitys work to provide meals for hungry children in an educational setting around the world. The World Porridge Day - Ireland launch will run from 9am to 11.30am on the forecourt of the Mansion House. Mary’s Meals sets up and runs school feeding projects in communities where hunger and poverty prevent children from gaining an education. The international charity currently provides a meal every school day for over 920,000 children, across five continents.
