Dropping a bomb here...Ok, Bills fans, I constantly hear about the need for the Bills to get back to their historic winning ways, for a return of the glory years, to be relevant again. I am not a Bills fan, didnt grow up here. But, I would love to see them relevant; who wouldnt? Now, for reality: In the 54 seasons of their existence, they have had a winning record only 22 times, total record is 385-443. They had 10 wins or more only 12 times out of the 22 seasons with winning records. There was only one true period of time when the Bills were relevant, from 1988-1999 (and in there were 2 losing seasons at 6-10 and 7-9. 9 winning seasons, 8 with 10 wins or more. The point I am trying to make here is that they have historically been a losing team, often either the worst in the league or close to the worst. To make matters worse, there does not seem to be many clues that the Bills philosophy, which has made them historically one of the NFLs bottom dwellers, has changed. Maybe it is time to accept that the Bills are unlikely to become a top-tier NFL team, in wins, philosophy, appearance, etc. In order to do that, it seems to me that a complete overhaul of football operations is needed. They have, what I think, is a great owner, now let that owner shape the philosophy akin to his/hers historically successful business models. This will take time, but as I have demonstrated, it is not like this losing thing is all that uncommon for the Bills...keep doing what you are doing... Oh, and how do you not throw the ball to Watkins 20 times a game? Sad! I accept all the Bills fan criticism. ~Scott
