Dubois Institute presents Celebration Rites of Passage Graduation Ceremony - Wed, June 8, 2013 The Graduation of the Class of 2012-2013 Location: Bobby Bonds Park, 2060 University Avenue, Riverside, CA ------------------------------------------------------------------ Now Enrolling for the Class of 2014 Building Resilience in African American Families Programs designed to improve the quality of life for African American youth and their parents. Male Rites of Passage (ages 11-15) *Transition from Boy to Manhood *KOS, cultural heritage and constructive behavior for living *Creative Arts, Math, Science, College Prep, Martial Riverside Arts *Daily Healthy Snacks & Hot Meals *Monthly Empowerment Dinners *Tuesday - Thursday 4-7 pm Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (Boys/Girls 10-14) *Reduce symptoms related to physical or emotional trauma *Build resilience and strength *Increase peer and parent support Black Parenting Support Group *Child management skills from African American frame of reference *Pyramid of Success for Black Children, Modern Black Self-Discipline *Family Rule Guidelines *Offered in 14 weeks - 3 hour sessions or 6 hour workshop All programs, services, and trips are free!
