Dubstep is 1% talentless asshole with a computer and 99% super in depth automation, midi arrangement, sampling, and mixing and mastering on par with what every other producer does. So yes, it is a lot more than an asshole with a MacBook. This is a public service announcement for people ignorant of electronic music production who rip on dub step producers but yet have nothing to say about candy hip hop beats you can make on a keyboard.
