Due to illness, I have just spent the last 5 days in Hadassah Ein Kerem (now at home). Whilst this is never anyones choice, I want to share two things that i saw that will stay with me for a very long time. The first one is how our brave injured soldiers were treated as heroes (which they are) whether people just shaking their hands, saying thank you or trying to buy them some food in the mall. The second thing and the most moving was seeing an injured soldier benching gomel after his aliyah on Shabbos. It has certainly inspired me and has really hit home what these great people are doing for all of us
