Due to receiving an extension of our contract with Kirklees Council we are seeking an additional Community Care Worker to join our existing team in HUDDERSFIELD HD8 AND SURROUNDING AREA We would like to hear from people with a passion for care, for those looking for a position that offers real job satisfaction. A willingness to undertake extensive training, a positive “can do” attitude and a driving licence & vehicle are essential. Duties will Include A Responsibility to assist service users to live their lives independently A Duty to carry personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, continence care, meal preparation, prompting medication, shopping and cleaning Ability to cope under pressure Ability to cope with change Excellent communication skills Ability to work as part of a team Flexible approach to working hours, as evening and weekend work will be required Any other duties as deemed necessary CAR DRIVER IS ESSENTIAL Previous care experience would be desirable but not essential £7.30 per hour/£8.30 per hour after 8pm/£8.30 on Sundays inclusive of bonus payment Full Paid Training Provided Please call 01924 274448 for further information.
