Due to the potential for wintry precipitation beginning late Jan. 13 which has the potential for creating dangerous road conditions, the Fort Bragg Senior Commander has issued a late work call for all XVIII Airborne Corps units Jan. 14. Unit members should report by 10 a.m. Members of the U.S. Army Garrison, Soldiers and civilian employees, should also report by 10 a.m. Service members assigned to all other units should follow reporting instructions from their chains of command. The installation will remain open, however motorists are urged to remain off the roads if possible in the event of wintry precipitation. Fort Bragg Schools will operate on a two-hour delay. Fort Bragg Child Development Centers and School Age Services will open at 9:30 a.m., Jan. 14 For the evening of Jan. 13, Family and MWR Recreation, Sports and Intramurals will cancel all scheduled activities beginning at 6 p.m. Child Youth and School Age Services will cancel all events at Linden Oaks beginning at 7 p.m. and on Fort Bragg beginning at 8 p.m. All Womack Army Medical Center military and adverse weather personnel will report at normal duty hours and all non-adverse weather personnel will be on a two hour DELAY. If an appointment is affected by the delay, call 910-907-2778 to reschedule your appointment. The Emergency Department and inpatient units will remain open without interruption.
