Due to the situation in St. Louis, I was inspired to write a story, Batman related centered around the same situation and scenario of the Michael Brown Case. The ENTIRE outline is dedicated to the Memory of Michael Brown. GOTHAM GAZELLE - 10:43AM . Headline - UNARMED AFRICAN AMERICAN TEENAGE MURDERED WALKING TO HIS EAST END APARTMENT HOME LATE LAST NIGHT, POLICE OFFICER SHOT AND KILLED TEENAGER AND CLAIMED HE TRIED TO GRAB HIS GUN SO HE HAD TO DEFEND HIMSELF. TEENAGER WAS SLATED TO ATTEND GOTHAM COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL ON MONDAY. TEENAGE WAS A MEMBER OF THE STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSIOATION AT GCHS AS WELL AS STAR QUARTERBACK FOR THEIR FOOTBALL TEAM, THE CRUSADERS. THE FOLLOWING DAY, RIOTS & LOOTING TAKE PLACE IN THE BOWERY & EAST END DISTRICTS OF GOTHAM CITY, AS WELL AS DOWNTOWN GOTHAM. TUESDAY MORNING, THREE DAYS AFTER THE DEATH OF THE TEEN, PRESIDENT BARACK HUSSAIN OBAMA CALLS FOR MARSHALL LAW TO BE INSTALLED IN GOTHAM AND SENDS THE NATIONAL GUARD TO ASSIST THE GCPD IN HELPING THE SITUATION. BOTH UNITS OF THE GCPD, MAJOR AND SPECIAL CRIMES ARE IN FULL FORCE THROUGHOUT GOTHAM. THERE IS NO MEDIA INCOMING OR OUTGOING , NO INCOMING OR OUTGOING FLIGHTS THROUGH ARCHIE GOODWIN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.THE ROBERT KANE MEMORIAL BRIDGE LINKING GREATER GOTHAM TO ARKHAM ASYLUM WAS LIFTED AS WELL AS THE WESTWARD BRIDGE LINKING GREATER GOTHAM TO BLACKGATE PRISON. PEACEFUL PROTEST TAKE PLACE DAILY AT THE STATUE OF JUSTICE ON LIBERTY ISLAND IN THE GOTHAM BAY, AND THE THOMAS WAYNE MEMORIAL PLAZA ADJACENT FROM WAYNE TOWER. GOTHAMS BILLIONAIRE PLAYBOY & PHILANTROPHIST BRUCE WAYNE IN CALIFORNIA, SCHEDULED TO RETURN TODAY. *Bruce Wayne returns to Gotham only to find it in a state of panic due to the civil unrest about the killing of Kyrell Stewart. *During a Wayne Enterprises Board Meeting , Vicki Vale comes on the television to speak about the current situation going on in Gotham and its escalation. *Bruce asks Alfred if this is similar to how his parents died, unarmed. *Tim Drake tells Bruce that he was friends with the boy at GCHS. Dick Grayson calls Bruce to ask reluctantly if he needed assistance in Gotham, Bruce saying in usual tone that he will handle it. Oracle informs Bruce that the Justice League is planning on coming into Gotham to assist the US Military and the GCPD in handling the situation. Bruce speaks with Clark Kent (Superman) asking him in a more sensitive and painful way that they allow Batman & Robin to handle the situation in Gotham. With Clark agreeing and refraining the League from taking action, only for Clark to force Bruce to agree that if he cant stop the riots peacefully, the League will intervene with the Presidents permission. Bruce agrees and asks Superman to meet with the President in hopes of pulling the military out of Gotham because they cause more unrest, stating that the GCPD and Batman & Robin can handle it. Superman agrees, having faith that Bruce will handle the situation. *Bruce Wayne & Timothy Drake-Wayne speak at a press conference in front of Wayne Tower protected by Commissioner Gordon and Detectives Bennett and Brown. Bruce Wayne asks for privacy for the Stewart family so that they may grieve their loss. He reminds Gothamites how he lost his parents who were unarmed in Crime Alley so many years ago. Timothy Drake-Wayne calls for a time of reflection and asks that the close friends of Kyrell Stewart come together to deliver a check that Bruce Wayne writes at the conference for 100,000 dollars to be delivered by his adopted son, himself, and Police Commissioner James Gordon to the Stewart family. Reporters Vicki Vale, Clark Kent, and Lois Lane are seen in the crowd. Clark nods at Bruce. Oprah Winfery sits down to interview Timothy Drake-Wayne on the loss of his friend. Tim Drake also agrees to sit down with Gotham Radio Personality Majorr Tee in the Morning to discuss his ideals on the violence of Gotham City. Bruce asks Tim to respect the family and agree to no more public appearances and standouts. *Bruce becomes motivated to apprehend the killer once identified and interrogate him personally. Tim wants to tag along as Robin, however Bruce refuses saying that Tim is too close to the situation and that Vengeance might breakout, leading to more senseless death. *Hearing of the news at Blackgate, there is a riot which Bruce sends Tim and asks Dick to handle. *** At the end of the story, the killer isnt brought to justice because he cant be proven guilty of the crime due to lack of witnesses. Dick Grayson with his small fortune, has a statue built of the teenager with the parents permission and places it on the football field of GCHS, and Posthumously has him accepted into Gotham State University on a full academic scholarship and Football.
