Dugripora Killing solved; 2 Hizb activists held: Police ‘Hunt launched to nab the militant’ Srinagar, May 05: (GNS) Police on Monday claimed to have arrested two Hizbul-Mujahdeen activists from Awantipora area of Pulwama district in south Kashmir involved in the killing of 85 years old Ghulam Mohammad, father of Dugripora Sarpanch. A police spokesman in a statement issued to GNS said that Awantipora police arrested 2 HM OGW’s , Ishfaq Ahmed Dar son of Abdul Hameed and Lateef Ahmed Dar son of Ghulam Hassan residents of Dugripora involved in the killing of 85 years old Ghulam Mohammad, father of Dugripora Sarpanch on 8th March. The duo along with a local HM militant Riyaz Naikoo killed the old aged Haji Ghulam Mohammad Dar when he was coming out of Masjid after offering Isha prayers, he said. “A Chinese pistol used in the murder along with magazine and 7 live rounds was recovered from their possession”, he said adding that police has launched manhunt to nab the HM militant Riyaz Naikoo.
