During Elvis Week every August and during the Christmas holidays are the busiest times for Elvis related item sales at and around Graceland as well as the on line catalog at elvis. We have received the attention of EPE. Your support of our boycott has put a noticeable dent in the EPE bottom line for the last two months. This is the reason we have gotten their attention. First, we protested the removal of the planes and EPE ignored us. We then, called for a boycott and EPE still ignored us because they figured fans would support their every desire, even if it came to removing the planes because, after all, they do know whats in the best interest of us fans right? Now they realize they may have a problem on their hands. This has occurred because of you, not Stefaan, Nicla, Jared, or myself. They ignored thousands of emails. Snubbed Stefaan, Nicla, and myself personally when we arrived at the EPE corporate office headquarters in August and again in early October. Threatened to have me personally removed from the property (heh,heh,heh, they didnt even know I was there until I was getting ready to leave) and in the words of our own Nicla Crippa, treated every fan with disrespect. Stefaan is probably the most active Elvis fan I know and I know many. Not a day went by when he didnt fill his personal page with positive stories, insights and photos. Stefaan probably has done more for EPE unofficially then EPE does for itself officially and he was repaid with a broken heart. Well, EPE wanted a fight, they got one. I want you to remember that not one employee of EPE had ever met Elvis or probably seen him perform live but thousands of us have and did, several times. What about Priscilla and Lisa? Priscilla is nothing more than a paid spokesperson for EPE. Lisa, well Lisa hasnt had much to do with her fathers fans since her recording career failed. They are not and can not be of any help to us. I could go on and on about Priscilla and Lisa but it would be absolutely pointless. It is up to us. We are the only group that can make a difference. Save The Planes is the largest interactive Elvis internet site of its kind coming in second only to elvis. This is because of you! Please keep in mind that we are not boycotting Elvis. Elvis had nothing to do with any of this. We are boycotting the horrible management and decision making of the current EPE ownership and we can only do so on a world wide basis by refusing to support them through our purchases. That all being said, I would ask that everyone please keep Nicla, her aunt, and the rest of her family in their thoughts and prayers. They are having some difficulties right now and she needs our support. We also want to let Patsy Andersen know how happy we are for her and her new husband. When the Lisa Marie came home 34 years ago, she was in terrible shape and Patsy worked day and night to put her back together again. One hundred and twenty eight Save The Planes t-shirts are being shipped out today and we expect to send out 130 to 150 per week. I myself have been troubled by an embilical hernia for about 6 months and it is really beginning to cause me some problems so I will be having surgery next week to repair it hopefully for good and for the last time. I would ask everyone to remember something, and I really do not want to sound harsh. Every penny that you spend with EPE pushes those planes one foot further from where they have rested for all these years and brought so much happiness to Elvis fans. If you think that your support doesnt really matter because you know of someone who is still going to purchase Elvis items, please think again. This is not about what the other guy is doing, its about what you are doing. This can only work if we make it work and we have done a great job so far.
