During last winter, I noticed signs along hwy 49 in front of a winery near my house which read Hot Soup. I never had time to stop by last winter. Recently I stopped by this winery ( it is conveniently located across Hwy 49 from Cronan Ranch and Magnolia Ranch) and asked if there was hot soup this winter... And I was told, yes, on Sundays there is hot soup with bread. So, this afternoon, after I finished up my training run, I cleaned up and visited the little winery for a few sips of 3 varieties of red wine and a cup of Tomato Bisque and a cup of Sausage-Pasta-vegetable soups with two slices of bread. Perfect . [The soup and bread were made at nearby Sierra Rising Bakery and Cafe.] Then I drove over to Auburn for some shopping and attended the Sunday evening Taize service . A good day.
