During my busking last weekend at the Neighbourgoods market in Braamfontein it started to rain, so instead of playing in my usual spot(down by the entrance) I moved upstairs, which was sorta different( a nice kind of different). People danced weirdly to my songs, the people at their stalls sang along and this student, Jo, sang with me. I also pulled out my Uke and played a few songs on that for a bit. Then it began to get quite loud with all the people and the rain started to lift a tiny bit, so I moved to my normal spot. As I got there it started to pour down, but I played anyway. Watching the people jump over/carry/just blatantly run through the river that was forming in the alley was incredibly entertaining. I wont be busking this weekend, Im feeling a tad down, and Im going to be jamming with some guys who saw me busking. I also wont be playing next week as I have a previous engagement. BUT I am so amped for this Thursday with Faz and the Firecrackers and Sticky Fingers at Tanz Live :D Hope to see you all there!
