Okay now, we went to Barbados in the West Indies, an OK island but it rained and rained and the wind was un-believable...Not my favorite, but then we went to St Lucia in the west indies and what a best kept secret, as the Island is Beautiful, Volcano mountains with huge cliffs hanging out over the ocean. We took a 5 hour catamaran trip part way around the Island and stopped at a beautiful Black sand beach at a cove hidden in among the rain forest...But today, yes today, we went to the Island of St Maarten. we docked on the Dutch side of the Island then took a bus to the French side to a beautiful white sand beach, We spent 5 hours there where they gave us punch rum, and bar-b-cue ribs. Now remember I said it was the french side, of course the water was crystal clear, the sand white and women topless, and I had 2 extra sets of batteries for my camera just in case (be prepared) Green lush mountain, ...did I mention the beach was topless? So here I was, with my Steeler shirt and hat on watching the world go by. (with camera in hand and always ready)....tonight we head home with two days at sea...did I mention the beach....
