During my senior year of high school I had quite a few haters in the form of students and teachers. Despite that, I was chosen to be the chairman of the TF North Homecoming Committee. I inquired about concerns from the other students that didnt want me to be in charge and I was told Chairman or not, good job or not, there will be people that are going to talk about you for any reason they can think of. You might as well give them something to talk about. That year, we saw one of the best homecomings that the school had had in a while! And people still hated me afterwards. Thank you for believing in me and teaching me a valuable lesson, Mr. Paradise. Rest in peace.
