Comte Robert DE MONTESQUIOU introduced Marcel PROUST and Reynaldo HAHN to POLIGNAC: much of PROUSTs musical education took place in the POLIGNAC Salon. After POLIGNACs death, Princess DE POLIGNAC became an important Musical Patron as well.
