During the production of any Bond film, the internet is always awash with speculation and rumours. Id like to weigh in on that, with the totally gratuitous and unfounded rumour that, now we know that SPECTRE will feature scenes in James Bonds flat, well finally get to meet his irascible elderly Scottish treasure May in SPECTRE. Although weve visited Bonds home twice before in the series, weve never seen his housekeeper, and to fill the mother figure void left by the departure of Dame Judi Dench - and staying with the recent policy of hiring quality talent - who better to take on the role than the wonderful Dame Maggie Smith (better known to the current generation as Professor McGonagall in the Harry Potter films, and the Dowager Countess of Grantham on Downton Abbey)? What do you think?
