During this earth journey, it became crucial that i learned to be my own doctor and my own patient. I learned that if needed, then ask the human doctors for assistance. But dont hand your body and mind over to them. growing up i was told to trust the doctor. the doctor knew best i learned that this made no sense. I live in this body. Not any doctor. i was going to be a doctor of medicine. I really wanted to at one point. Well before i entered college. Im glad i didnt. i dont agree with a lot of things in the medical field. For instance, with their ways of diagnosing and assessing an individuals situation. i am completely against labeling an individual according to their symptoms. i AM all about enhancing the body- mind connection in the individual in a way that benefits her. because, you see, the body has the ability to heal itself. We just need to learn to listen to it better. we need to get to know this house that we dwell. the body does speak. If you listen it will tell you what it needs to stay healthy. Work together and wellness on multiple levels will result. - ELIF
