Dustin Booth as i am sure that Doug had many friends in arizona, his heart has always been in the tetons. i worked with him for the past 5+ years (knew him prior to that). an amazing and kind sould. he knew arizona as his home, but not his heart. he loved the tetons, knew their story, history, their soul. he told me this. his favorite times here were hiking the canyons, mining their gems, attending their reandevous, learning their history, exploring their depths. he was a true man of the old west, all the way down to practicing his ax throwing. he loved his beer (growlers), he loved his campling, he loved his wilderness dream. he was Grizzly Adams(minus the beard). where he is laid to rest will be peaceful, of this i am sure. but in the mountains of wyoming is where he will be at peace for sure. Dougie Fresh I love and miss you already! i will never forget our talks.
