Duterte will ask the New People’s Army (NPA) to make way for the proposed establishment of a palm oil plantation in Paquibato district which he considers beneficial to the local residents, including rebels. Duterte earlier bared that a Malaysian firm expressed interest to pour in investments for palm oil production.
