I head to the kitchen and Ill pulling out all the ingredients, measuring stuff, and the pot...no Dwight in sight... So I start the cookies...and here he comes...let me help you...Right! Dwight...Hey, did you look at the expiration date of the powdered cocoa? Me...No...why? Dwight...it says Dec 2010...its Jun 2014 Me...Did you look at it...any bugs...ants...mold? Dwight...yes, I looked at it and it looks dark and I dont see anything movin. Me..Good sign..measure up and get past this aging thing! Dwight...but this stuff is 4 years old. Me...For Gods sake Dwight, it only powedered cocoa...it wont kill you! Mix it it or else! Then... Me...hey, get the wax paper from the top of the cupboard down please. Dwight,..They make that stuff today. Me...Funny, its old, its dated from the old house we lived in 12 years ago...trust me, it wont kill you! Dwight...hey the box is kinda old looking Me...So are you...just get that stupid stuff on the counter and get with it. He puts his version of a spoonful on the wax paper, and then eats the left over in the pot and on the spoon...which is a lot...and then asks the dumbest damn question...Hey, how come these are cold? Me...cause we havent put them in the fridge and its summer time...and what do you care, you just ate half the batch! THIS LADIES AND GENTLEMEN IS WHY IM CLOSE TO WEARING STRIPES AND ORANGE...this man is driving me nuts!
