EARLY CHRISTIAN MISSIONARIES - TopicsExpress

EARLY CHRISTIAN MISSIONARIES The success of Christian Missionary Programs can be linked to the Education they offered freely to the Early People in Africa in 1834. Many people in Africa wanted Education; and missionaries taught people to read, in order that they might understand the word of God. Many European Missionaries worked extremely hard, leaving their comfort zone, running their missions, risking their lives and good health in the Process. Many died of malaria, cold, heat, wide animals and human idols worshipers. Many of them died of hunger, many were homeless and became poor just to spread the Gospel of Christ in Africa. They never look for wealth, mansion, private jet, they never have bank accounts neither feed the congregations with vain messages of prosperity as it is rampant in Nigeria today. They were never a friends to the world class politicians. They varied enormously in their ability to Contribute to the Quality of life of those they lived with. The Scottish factory worker, Mary Slessor was one such missionary, she spent over 40yrs in Southern Nigeria, in Calabar, she learnt the local language, and lived a life of total simplicity. She dealt head-on with some of the Customs of the region, such as throwing twins into the bush to die, and negotiated an end to this. Today, she is still revered and loved as a local figure. Henry Townsend, one of the founder of Yoruba Mission and Church Missionary Society CMS. Anglican Taylor, John Christopher, missionary society, A.W.Banifield, an early pioneer missionary to Nigeria West. Bishop Samuel Ajayi Crowther, Bishop, Niger Territory, born in Iseyi, Ibadan. He spent the whole of his life to Educates Christians, taught them how to read, speaks and write, He translated English bibles to Yoruba language to enabled Yorubas to understood Gods Word without collecting KOBO. In those days, in 1888, Educations are free, every Christian Leaders are looking for the Progress and welfare of their people, I was among the people who enjoyed free Education in 80s. But today, we have turning Christianity into Business Center. Business Enterprises. Most of our Religion Leaders today, who benefited from the foundation that Bishop Ajayi Crowther and Apostle Ayo Babalola laid down, which Chief Obafemi Awolowo followed have now turn the Christianity into Business Enterprises. Instead of Gospel of repentance and reconciliation to God, its miracle, prosperity and breakthrough, the book of malachi,3v8-10 is all they know. Pastors offering, tithes, offering, Sunday school offering, minister offering, 1st Sunday thanksgiving offering, Vow, child dedication offering, 1st year salary offering, welfare offering, evangelism offering, testimony offering, building project donations, Equipment donations, Pastors Jeep contributions, etc. They made the members to believe that without all these donations, they wont be blessed in life, and, they wont Enter Gods Kingdom. They are busy breeding Sinners instead of Saints. They are not Preparing their members for Rapture. After dried everything in the Pockets of their members, they built Universities, they used the strengths of the Poor in the Church to built these schools, and when the school is ready, The school fees is from #400;000 to #740;000. They used the Poor people in the church to built the schools and prepared the same schools for the rich. This is not the aims of Early Missionaries who gave Education freely for Christians and all other religions who attended the school. I know that someone can argue HERE that Education cannot be free because of the lecturers and maintainers of the infrastructures of the school. Good!!! But all the church services contributions is enough to make the Educations free for the Poor in their Churches. if what the Christianity in the Olden-Days Practiced is what we are Practicing today, when religion Universities tuition fee is #11;000 to #20;000, am very sure...... There wont be anyone in LASU by now. Why are we blaming Gov Fashola for increased tuition fee from #25;000 to #250;000 when the cheapest Christian University today is #450;000??? We should start asking our Religion Leaders Questions instead of following many of them to Hell. Matt,23v13, 13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. Jesus said, woe to many of them, because they known that they have already lost the ticket to Heaven for wealth, sadly, they are still blocking their members from entering. Hell is already over-filled because of their prosperity doctrine. They never allow their congregations think of Gods Kingdom, Instead, they feed them with prosperity messages.................... With all the Wisdom and Wealth of King Solomon, He never make it into Gods Kingdom. What is the usefulness of all your luxurious ways of life and yet languishing in Hell after death. Wealth is good but, is never a tickets to Heaven. What? What?? What??? What is the different between a Politicians who looted the treasury and Religions Leaders who are living in luxury and busy buying Jets, having mansions with foreign banks??? I challenge all the blind followers to google PICTURES OF FAKE PASTOR you will be surprise to see for yourself that they are all in Nigeria with multinational business entity. After Rapture..... The world will see by themselves and for themselves those who worship God and those who worships Satan. Christ is coming ONLY for Holy and Righteous People who have not polluted the Children of God with a Diluted messages.
