Faith in God 2nd Timothy 1:7 For God did not give us a spirit timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.” Faith is a perfect remedy to fear which causes worry, anxiety and pessimism. Faith involves a complete abandonment to God and a whole absolute dependence on Him. A person who lets the Holy Spirit be in total control of their lives goes forward under the full conviction of God’s ability and power. If we really believe God is able to supply all our needs, our faith will nurture peace and joy overshadowing doubt and fear. Look at what the Israelites had to go through due to the lack of Faith in God. They wasted “Forty years” in the desert because of their disbelief in God. Unbelief, which causes fear, always limits God’s use of our lives. We need to tap into our Heavenly Father and have faith. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you a heart of faith that will drive out the emotions and actions of your human nature especially that of fear. Courtesy Family Media
