EARLY HEAD START (Serves pregnant mothers, infants & toddlers up to age 3) • Home-based program which serves family in home for 1 ½ hours per week. • Home Visitor provides information on stages of child development as well as other areas of need. • Center-Based socializations are held 2 times per month. • During Center-Based socializations, children and families interact and build social skills with other children and families. • A Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) is available to provide well-baby checks. • Earn “baby bucks” to purchase diapers, clothing, formula and other nice items from our store. HEAD START & WASHINGTON CITY PRESCHOOL (Serves preschool aged children 3-5 years of age) • Center-Based classes – (AM hours are 8:15 - 11:45 Mon-Thurs) (PM hours are 11:45 – 3:15 Mon-Thurs) • Full Day Center-Based Classes – (8:15 – 3:15 M-TH) • Breakfast & lunch are provided for all AM classes • Lunch and snack are provided for all PM classes • Breakfast, lunch & snack are provided for all full-day classes. • Developmental hearing, vision, and speech screenings • Services to children with disabilities, including severe disabilities • We provide transportation to and from school as well as some activities when requested.
