EARLY VOTING IS EASIER!! (team up and go - please talk to everyone you see - tell them what we are trying to do - together we can change things in Rhea County - we have worked hard but it will count if we go vote - thank you and God Bless) Early voting for the August county general election begins Friday, July 18, and will continue until Saturday, Aug. 2. Early voting in Dayton will take place at the Rhea County Election Commission, located near the Rhea County Courthouse, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday through Friday and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. until noon. Early voting polls are closed on Sunday. Early voting in Spring City will take place at the Spring City Municipal Building from Monday, July 21, to Saturday, July 26. Polls are open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday in Spring City as well. In order to cast their ballot, voters must be registered with the Rhea County Election Commission and must show state or federally issued photo identification prior to casting their ballots.
