EASY button -- This weekend when you are cleaning up at home or work, see if you have a BUNCH of OLD MAGAZINES laying around - OR BOOKS GATHERING DUST ON DUSTY SHELVES. I am clearing out work and home and taking to Veterans Coming Home on Monday when I serve lunch with Marla Strader and Mark-Melinda Welch (WEEE by the way on this!!) I know the homeless folks will LOVE having something to read to take their minds elsewhere for awhile. There is a library there also, so BOOKS BOOKS BOOKS are a huge need. I think Jill Chappell (?) posted this awhile back, but I just remembered. Anyone work in a doctors office or hospital, who has magazines laying everywhere Im SURE they throw AWAY ! DONT let it happen ! THIS is something you can do for NO $$$$ and also clear out and clean up spaces ! drop off at Choice Escrow or Kaleidoscope. Younger type subject matter we can take to Rare Breed Youth Services also .AND PLAYING CARDS ! DO YOU HAVE DECKS OF CARDS YOU DONT NEED - ARE YOU POSSIBLY A FREQUENT FLYER at a casino ? ASK for the decks of cards they THROW AWAY ! Can you help ? Its crazy what we toss out ALL the time - my favorite word is AWARENESS - and thats what THIS is about ! Dont throw things away OR leave books to gather dust on your shelves or sell for a dime in your next garage sale ! Bring them to me and theyll be put to good eyes and hearts ! thanks friends
