ECCLESIASTES=ch-3=Here we read the Bible speaking, every thing has a season. A time to be born, a time to die. A time to plant a time to take up that which was planted. A time to kill, a time to heal. A time to break down, a time to build up. A time to weep, a time to laugh. The list goes on, what are we saying here? God has both a plan and reason for all things, men go about as little children. Man lays his plans but, God directs his footsteps for good or evil. God brings up Kingdoms, God takes down Kingdoms. Prideful men rise for a season then perish, evil men rise for a time then vanish as the grass in a hot summer dry spell. PSALMS-ch-1-vrs-1-2-3-4 say, "Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shall thou dwell in the land and, and verily ( surely ) thou shall be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart." Years ago Mom Hummer called me one morning, she was troubled by the actions of two men in her life. She ask me for some Bible verses to bring her peace. I directed her to PSALMS-chapter 37 and a few days later she called me back speaking; " Barney that was exactly what I needed to read! I love you Barney!" The men she spoke of were on my prayer list, one died within 3 years the other is yet alive. She was troubled by their sinful nature, the one that died was saved before his death, the other is also saved. Many folks voice their concern about our nation, about all the sinful words and actions of sinful people. The nature of all mankind is to sin, we are born with such a nature due to Adam giving away the farm to the devil! Keep your focus on Jesus, pray for your loved ones first, then others for salvation. Remember this, pay no attention to the position, status or wealth of any man, in the end we are all equal one second after death! Therefore speak to men the wonderful news of salvation, let that be your driving force in life. Amen.
