ECOWAS leaders tell dictator Jammeh you can lead The Gambia but not us. Few years ago, in Addis Ababa he wanted to vie for the position of AU chairmanship but had to bow out at the eleventh hour after realising that he didnt stand the slightest chance to be elected. Yet again amidst all the intense diplomatic lobbying through Nigerias Jonathan Goodluck, Jammehs misery continues at international stage amongst his counterparts. What does this show by us collectively as Gambians, if we can have the worlds reject leading our nation for almost two decades? The answer is simple we have in totality failed our nation. Bravo to HE PRESIDENT MAHAMA of Ghana for taking the mantle of leadership in the West African sub region. We hope under his chairmanship West Africa would flourish in democracy and good governance and see end of tyranny in a country like The Gambia.
