ECSST Amazing Animal Facts LYNX FACTS (1) Definition: Lynx are short-tailed wildcats with usually tufted ears and a mane of longer hair around the face and neck. They have a short tail, and usually a pencil of hair on the tip of the ears. The body colour varies from medium brown to a gold color to beige-white; and occasionally, is marked with dark brown spots, especially on the limbs.
