EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF GOVERNOR KASHIMS ADMINISTRATION!!! Before the advent of Kashims administration, the educational sector in Borno State was in the state of deteriorating condition. Since education is the key foundation of national progress and national survival and that anybody who is not educated to his or her full creative potential is a factor of waste and of danger to the economy, society and the nation, this administration must be praised for the effort invested and the steps have taken to improve the standard of education in our dear State by approving the new salary scale for the tertiary institutions(CONTIS) and the 27.5 percent(TSS) for Secondary School teachers, reviewing of students feeding allowance from 20million to 100million plus 10million for logistics making 110million every month, renovation and reconstruction of classrooms and staff quarters, also 300 Housing Estate(Teachers Village) for teachers is almost completed, and provision of educational facilities among others. Besides, it is evident that teachers in Borno State are no longer poor but are contented under this administration because they are receiving enough which can cater for most of their needs. There is that popular statement which says The reward for teachers are in the hereafter but our caring and empathetic Governor promised our teachers that their rewards will be given here and that the excess will be received in the hereafter insha Allah. Furthermore, the administration of Governor Kashim Shettima have also initiated a training program for teachers with a view to equip them with modern teaching techniques and about 50 teachers have so far benefited from the program when they were taken to India early this year and that the program is a continues one. At this juncture, it is clear that Governor Kashim Shettima deserves a second chance to continue with the good job he has been doing in creating a new educational system that shall be built on one cardinal principle which shall determine its purpose, orientation, contents and organization and this is the principle that the human person is the most precious thing in the world, and human labor is the creator of all wealth and therefore the nurturing, training and development of our human resources is the theme of any genuine economic development and has to be given the highest priority. In view of the above, I call on every sensible and patriotic citizen of our dear State Borno to come out and vote for Hon. Kashim Shettima come 2015 for the future of our future leaders. Adam Bukar
