EE SAP Specialist (Transnet Freight Rail) TRANSNET SOC LTD - Parktown, Gauteng SAP SPECIALIST ICTM PARKTOWN Transnet Freight Rail (TFR) is a division of Transnet, responsible for freight movement across South Africa. We’re looking for talented individuals who are interested in becoming part of improving the movement of rail freight in SA. The incumbent will be involved with the development, maintenance and enhancement of the technical areas of the SAP solutions in order to meet business needs and processes. Responsibilities Perform daily system checks to ensure system availability and business continuity. Perform system installations, upgrades, refreshes and loading of support packs and notes. Troubleshoot system / application problems to resolve and implement preventative solutions. Provide technical advice and guidance on SAP related projects. Perform after-hours standby duties to ensure the smooth running of critical business processes. Perform the migration and ensure the accuracy of all changes throughout the landscape. Effective working relationships with service providers, ICTM departments, team members and business teams. Applications are invited from diligent and well-organized candidates who are in possession of a Degree or Diploma in the relevant field with at least 5 years’ experience in the role of SAP Basis support, two SAP implementations, two upgrades and preferably SAP certified.
