ELECTRICIAN (1 post) ROOFINGS GROUP – Posted by The Uganda Jobs – Kampala, Central Region, Uganda Job Description The position holder reports to the Manager Polypipes and is responsible for electrical installations and inspection to improve process performance, documentation and reporting in the PVC/HDPE/PPR pipe factory Responsibilities: > Carry out daily electrical checks of all PVC/HDPE/PPR pipe factory electrical equipments/machines > Record daily/UMEME meter readings > Daily checking of Generators. > Electrical trouble shooting in case of break down > Repair and maintain PVC/HDPE/PPR pipe factory electrical equipment/installations > Carry out preventive maintenance on PVC/HDPE/PPR pipe factory electrical installations/ machines/equipments. > Guarantees that all electrical equipment/installations in the factory are in best condition to operate safely and efficiently. Minimum qualification: > Higher Diploma – Electrical Engineering > Ability to interpret electrical drawings and installations manuals. Experience: > Minimum of 2 years Experience in PVC/HDPE/PPR pipe factory setting as an electrician.
