#EMGAZA2 Gaza is still bleeding, many of you thinks if the war stops or even have truce for few days means life goes to normal. Gaza needs to rebuild it again at least 10 years, and 50 years for its people to heal themselves psychologically and mentally. Activism on FB and other social media must continue without stop as well as medical help and assistance. The medical sector in Gaza after this war went to the stone Era, many of clinics, Pharmacies, hospitals and paramedics vehicles have collaterally destroyed. We as doctors are doing our best to heal and fix what Israel has damaged so far by running different appeals and projects to support hospitals, clinics as much as we can. Many of you sent me links for International NGOs that work in Gaza, I want to tell you something according to my experience in this field. Ive been working as a field coordinator for many NGOs by monitoring many proposals and documents, what i found was shocking, Most of funds that suppose to achieve the projects goals are going to cover salaries and other expenses. While the main aim of the project gets 30 to 40 %. The problem with the Intentional NGOs is their Intentional workers who come to Gaza for work, Most of the expenses are going for them by rents, cars, food, and vacations. In Gaza, we have genius experts who graduated and waiting their chance to get involved. Why are these NGOs can’t corporate with them to run its projects in Gaza??!! If they do this, they would save a lot of money and use it on the aim or Project’s goal. After my experience for years in this field, I can tell I don’t trust no one ( NGO) works in Gaza. Since then I started to run some projects by myself, using my experience and people I know, I started to help children of Gaza, who have cancer, Neurological problems till providing some hospitals with medicines and related stuff. I expanded my team from 1 ( Me) to 20 experts to be able to provide a good medical help and high professional work. All of us are working for free as volunteers, No need for salaries because most of us has its own job beside. Fact!!, The goals we achieve on every appeal we run is equal to 3-4 projects from what these International NGOs run. So please don’t mix the things, we are on the ground and see more than you.
