Most of the New Age "thought leaders" are either swindlers or incompetents. We really need a new cadre of intellectuals to build the bridge between science and mysticism, the physical and the psychic. Instead of insulting the intelligence of the audience, they would clearly define the edge between the known and unknown. This has to be done so it satisfies the inquiry of the most hardcore skeptic. Once the bridge is built, everyone will cross it, eventually.
