On 24 October a delegation of 14 Members of the European Parliament (MEPs), led by Croatian MEP Andrej Plenkovi (EPP) arrived in Ukraine to observe the 2014 parliamentary election in Ukraine. The Delegation started its activities in the morning of 24 October and will present its preliminary post-election statement at a joint news conference of international observers on Monday, 27 October, in Kyiv. The EP delegation is composed of 14 MEPs and is integrated in an International Election Observation Mission led by the long-term expert mission of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (OSCE/ODIHR). The EP observers will work seven cities of Ukraine Kiev, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Lviv, Odessa, Kharkiv and Dnjepropetrovsk.
